This embroidered appliqué cactus wall hanging/ornament was inspired by vintage Tlaquepaque Mexican pottery designs and is 5.5 inches tall. It was handmade in Dripping Springs, Texas from start to finish (cut, embroidered, filled, and stitched together). A total of 10 different felt cactus pads and agave leaves were cut and stiched together for this creation.

  • About this handmade item

    The felt used for this hand stitched art item is either standard crafting felt of acrylic fibers and /or 100% polyester fiber made from recycled post-consumer plastic bottles.

    Since this item was created as wall art, only one side includes the embroidered appliqué.
